If you are going to be late to your lesson, please notify us via the Remind App. After 15 minutes, your lesson will be forfeited. Your teacher will provide a video lesson, alternative assignment, or asynchronous lesson.

You are provided 40 weekly lessons each calendar year. The studio is closed for a few weeks each year, please refer to the student portal for the most up-to-date studio calendar.

If you need to change your lesson time or wish to stop your lessons, you must fill out the Disenrollment Form. Please see below for more info.

Late Arrivals

TEACHER CANCELLATIONS

Each teacher has five built-in flex days to use for personal time. Your teachers may cancel an additional five flex lessons without having to make those up. If your teacher cancels any more than five flex lessons, they will provide a substitute or a make up lesson within 30 days.

Cancelling Your Lessons

If you must cancel a lesson, please do so on the student portal as soon as possible and email us. Although we do not provide makeup lessons for student cancellations, our teachers will provide a video or asynchronous assignment to keep you active and engaged between lessons.

If you need to cancel a lesson, you can do so via the student portal until 48 hours before your lesson without being charged. All payment is done through our online portal called My Music Staff. Payments can be made with a Credit or Debit Card, or a Bank Draft. Cash and Checks are not accepted.

Once the enrollment agreement is completed and your payment method has been established in the student portal, this authorizes The Musik Makers LLC to utilize that method of payment for all invoices.

All families must be set up with auto-pay by September 1st when registering for the new studio year (discounts are available when paying via bank draft ).

All payments are due via autopay and will incur late fees of $25 for every 2 weeks that they are overdue. If an invoice is unpaid for 3 months or more, the student will be automatically disenrolled.

Membership Students: Your monthly lesson fee does not change regardless of how many lessons are held in the month. These lessons are billed and invoiced on the 1st of the month for the upcoming month

Drop In Students: You will be charged per lesson. Each student is expected to set up a payment method in the student portal upon registration. These lessons will be invoiced weekly and autopay will be run every Friday.

If you have any questions regarding your invoice, payment method, or have a financial hardship, please reach out to themusikmakers@themusikmakers.org.

Please do NOT attend your lesson if:
you exhibit any of the following symptoms: fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, congestion, or if it has been within 5 days of your first Covid 19 symptom.

Please contact your teacher as soon as possible. They will provide you with a virtual lesson during your lesson time, if you are feeling up to it.  If you are not feeling up to it, your teacher will provide an asynchronous lesson assignment or you may attend one of our studio events that are eligible for a missed lesson swap.

While there is a bathroom on location, we ask that students only use it in an absolute emergency. Please try to use your own facilities before arrival. Disinfecting the bathroom during the lesson will take away from the student’s learning time and we want to make the most of their time in the studio.

If the studio needs to close due to inclement weather, you will be contacted by email and the Remind App. You can also check our social media for updates. Lessons for that day will be provided via zoom, or an asynchronous lesson will be designed for the students.

The student may also opt to take one of our Specialty Workshops for free in lieu of an online/asynchronous lesson.
