Join us this summer for a magical journey to the Land of Oz! In our Wizard of Oz-themed theatre camp, kids in grades K-4 will discover their courage, teamwork, and creativity as they explore the concept of storytelling. Through acting, singing, dancing, games and crafting, campers will bring this classic story to life, ending in a showcase of songs and scenes for family and friends to enjoy! No matter if your little one has never been on stage or its their favorite place, they'll feel right at home—because “there’s no place like The Musik Makers!”

BROADWAY BEGINNER CAMP GOALS:

Join us for an adventure you'll never forget with The Musik Makers. Our 4th-6th grade campers will get to immerse themeselves in songs and scenes from hit Broadway shows that take place all throughout the world, like Mamma Mia in Greece and The Lion King in Kenya. Along with building key beginner and intermediate performance skills, they'll get to create their own passports and travel posters to reflect the cultures and places featured in each song, dance, and scene. Join us for a final showcase that will take you on a cultural journey.

Get ready to take the stage and bring your favorite hits to life! In this dynamic summer theatre camp for students in grades 7–12, their favorite songs become the foundation for unforgettable performances. Campers will choose hit tracks that inspire them, transform them into show-stopping musical numbers, and craft original monologues and short scenes based on their favorite lyrics, musical artists, or albums. Through acting, dancing, singing, and writing workshops, campers develop their own creative voice and hone their performance skills. Not to mention a fun craft where they design their own album cover! Whether you're a seasoned performer or stepping into the spotlight for the first time, this camp is your chance to shine. Students will also receive 2 private voice coachings outside of camp hours! The week will culminate in a showcase where friends and family can experience a collective playlist live on stage!

Acting Through song intensive:

Our advanced intensive is for students who are ready to take their stage and singing skills to the next level.  This is a perfect camp for our 2024 Intensive Students or students going into 9th grade through the completion of 12th grade.  In addition to 10 group classes, students will receive 5 private vocal lessons and perform in a showcase at the completion of camp.  Our sessions will be comprised of stage movement, Laban method, improvisation, song study, character study, composer study, genre study, psychological gestures, chakra work, mindfulness, the wheel of emotions and so much more.  Students will take these skills to the next level as they build their audition books and grow together as a community of performers.  A variety of guest clinicians will also be coming in to work with the students throughout the summer.
